...................... a very short one. I think there's only 1 bird in the UK list with "two" in its name. So ... I got to wondering .. [a] Is there, anywhere in the world, a bird with "three" in its name ? (I know there's a Three-toed Sloth) but can there be both ? [b] ..and what about four, five .... ? [c] ..and what is the bird with the highest number ? If any . I was going to stop there, but then I had an idea ... after the music ... I wonder, suppose there was a bird called the "Bath Reed Warbler" would that count as a "3" ? in case you didn't notice ........ I'm running it past you again
I wonder, if there was a garden bird called the "Bath Reed Warbler" would that count as a "3" ? Or for that matter, the ubiquitous Infinite Nuthatch ? Then there's that now-extinct and ferocious Pennine Tyrant-Bird !! And the famous , if unfortunate, Brainless Evening-Hunter. There's probably more to be added to that list .... All ideas would be welcomed at [email protected] Or, of course, as a comment.
